ADAPT | THE YEAR COURSE
Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry | Belfast | 2027–2028
12 months. 12 hands-on days. One complete approach to restorative dentistry.
ADAPT is a comprehensive, year-long programme designed for dentists who want to develop their clinical skills, improve their confidence and approach restorative and aesthetic dentistry with greater clarity and consistency.
From comprehensive assessment and smile design through to anterior & posterior composites, ceramic restorations, clear aligners, occlusion and tooth wear, ADAPT brings together the skills, techniques and clinical decision-making needed to deliver high-quality, predictable dentistry.
Rather than a series of standalone courses, ADAPT is one connected programme, with each month building on the last and providing practical skills you can introduce directly into your everyday clinical work.

WHY ADAPT?
More confidence. Better planning. More predictable results.
Great restorative dentistry involves much more than the ability to carry out individual procedures.
It requires confident diagnosis, clear communication, sound treatment planning and the ability to select and deliver the most appropriate treatment for each patient.
ADAPT has been designed to bring these skills together, helping you to:
Develop greater clinical confidence when assessing patients, discussing treatment options and making restorative decisions.
Improve your technical skills across direct composite, adhesive dentistry, ceramic restorations and tooth wear management.
Plan more effectively, using a structured approach to restorative, aesthetic and multidisciplinary cases.
Apply what you learn in practice, with hands-on experience, clinical workflows and time between sessions to develop your skills.
The aim is simple: to help you become a more confident, capable and well-rounded restorative dentist.
HOW ADAPT WORKS
Learn. Practise. Apply. Develop.
PREPARE
Access relevant online theory, demonstrations and supporting resources before selected course days, allowing us to dedicate more of our face-to-face time to practical learning.
PRACTISE
Meet for one Friday each month in Belfast. Every day combines focused clinical teaching, demonstrations and hands-on exercises in a small-group setting.
APPLY
Take the techniques and workflows you have learned back into your own practice. The time between sessions allows you to consolidate your knowledge and gain clinical experience.
REFLECT
Return each month with questions, cases and challenges. Develop your decision-making through discussion, reflection and continued support.
